Our Customer is seeking a contract Legal Researcher and Writer to join their Content team. This role is responsible for producing high-quality, timely, and analytical content for legal audiences.
Responsibilities include leveraging deep expertise in U.S. law, advanced legal research and writing skills, and familiarity with AI-assisted legal workflows to develop comprehensive legal analyses. The role also requires translating complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance for end users.
This position demands strong project management capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Content Strategy, Operations, Technical, Product, and Go-to-Market teams.
This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:
Legal Content Creation
- Conduct in-depth legal research and produce clear, concise, and analytical legal content
- Analyze and interpret legislation, case law, regulations, and legal developments
- Write high-quality articles and commentaries on current tax and legal issues
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all content while adhering to legal and editorial standards
AI-Assisted Content Development
- Leverage generative and agentic AI tools to streamline content creation and editorial workflows
- Develop prompts, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and iterate to improve content quality
- Monitor changes in law and advancements in legal technology to inform content development
Project Management & Collaboration
- Collaborate with editorial leadership, product managers, and legal teams to scope, outline, draft, and review content
- Support strategy and execution of new content initiatives and product development
- Coordinate across stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives, including product pilots, tool evaluations, and process improvements
- Drive adoption of innovative approaches to legal content creation using technology
- Contribute to operational excellence and evolving editorial standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor required

- Minimum of 2 years of legal practice experience or equivalent
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to interpret AI outputs and integrate insights into legal content
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for drafting and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with legal research platforms such as Lexis+ AI, Protégé, or similar tools
- Experience with data visualization or analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience contributing to legal technology or AI-driven content initiatives
