Job description

Our Customer is an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee. The financial security company provides consultation on wealth and asset income protection, education planning, retirement planning, investment advisory services, financial planning trust and private client services, estate planning and business planning. Its products include life insurance, permanent life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance; annuities; investments; and investment advisory products and services.


Our customer is looking for a Licensed Compliance Consultant on a contract basis to help support their business needs. Training will be provided on advertising compliance regulations and company policies.


This role is 100% remote.


Hours: 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM CT



Responsibilities:

  • Review advertisements across digital platforms and traditional materials to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Evaluate content for adherence to advertising compliance standards
  • Learn and apply regulatory requirements and company policies related to advertising practices
  • Manage multiple review requests and communication streams efficiently
  • Prioritize tasks based on complexity and urgency
  • Navigate multiple systems and technologies to complete compliance reviews accurately
  • Provide feedback and support to improve advertising quality and compliance


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry
  • Series 7 and Series 24 registrations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently with strong ownership and accountability
  • Ability to learn technical subjects quickly and apply knowledge effectively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and SharePoint
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize based on complexity and urgency

Preferred:

  • Experience in advertising compliance or regulatory review
