Licensed Compliance Consultant (Milwaukee , WI)

Our Customer is an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee. The financial security company provides consultation on wealth and asset income protection, education planning, retirement planning, investment advisory services, financial planning trust and private client services, estate planning and business planning. Its products include life insurance, permanent life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance; annuities; investments; and investment advisory products and services.

Our customer is looking for a Licensed Compliance Consultant on a contract basis to help support their business needs. This role on-site in Milwaukee, WI.

Responsibilities:

• Review advertisements across digital and traditional channels to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Evaluate marketing materials for accuracy, disclosures, and regulatory adherence
• Apply compliance standards and guidelines to approve or flag content
• Document findings and communicate required changes to stakeholders
• Manage multiple review requests and prioritize based on urgency and complexity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues
• Maintain records and documentation within internal systems
• Stay current on regulatory requirements and internal policy updates
• Support continuous improvement of review processes and workflows

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry
• Series 7 and/or Series 24 registrations
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and assess complex materials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communication streams efficiently
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and SharePoint
• Ability to learn and apply regulatory and compliance standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in advertising compliance or regulatory review environments
