Licensed Mental Health Provider, Full-time: Immediate Opening

We are seeking a dynamic, full time mental health practitioner for an in-person, school and community based mental health position. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work effectively with middle school-aged youth and families, implementing programs for the treatment and prevention of youth related challenges.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Lead youth leadership initiatives aimed at fostering personal growth and empowerment.
  • Collaborate closely with school officials and parents to support students' mental health needs.
  • Provide educational workshops and resources for parents.
  • Facilitate supportive environments through parent support groups.

Qualifications:

  • LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
  • Minimum of two-years of experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with group facilitation.
  • Ability to utilize an electronic medical records.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in teams and large groups.
  • Knowledge of family systems theory a plus.
  • Personal vehicle required.

  • Competitive salary of $68,000-$70,000 per year.

This is an exempt, 12-month, Monday to Friday, in-office position available starting immediately. Some evening work is required. Only NYS licensed professionals will be considered.
