Job description
Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Licensing & Marketing Coordinator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Burbank, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Support business development efforts for the licensing team through maintenance of toolkits and support materials, including IP presentations, sizzles, and pitch decks.
- Assist in managing the partner funnel and tracking ongoing licensing and franchise discussions.
- Maintain and update franchise information and launch schedules.
- Route and track brand and marketing assets for approvals related to licensed game launches and live operations.
- Facilitate timely feedback and ensure updates are incorporated into marketing and brand assets.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including production, marketing, franchise, and licensing teams.
- Coordinate brand approvals for production and marketing assets across video, digital, and other media formats.
- Gather and organize reference materials and creative assets from internal stakeholders.
- Ingest, archive, organize, and distribute large sets of creative assets while maintaining strict naming conventions and version control.
- Maintain and update asset libraries to support multiple publishing and licensing initiatives.
- Support workflow documentation and cross-functional collaboration processes.
- Manage meeting cadences and agendas with franchise and internal teams.
- Support executive presentations and demos by downloading, installing, and troubleshooting game builds when necessary.
- Create visual materials and presentations for pitch meetings, concept presentations, and trade shows.
- Ensure all creative materials align with brand quality and authenticity standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience working with AAA entertainment brands across film, television, comics, animation, digital media, or video games.
- Experience supporting creative management of entertainment intellectual property or franchise brands.
- Strong understanding of marketing, social media, and entertainment industry trends.
- Experience applying brand guidelines to marketing assets and collateral materials.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across cross-functional environments.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative-thinking abilities.
- Ability to pivot and adapt quickly within fast-paced environments.
- Strong attention to detail and version control management.
- Experience developing compelling creative assets and presentation materials.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive materials.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Experience using secure file-sharing technologies.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
