Job description
Our client is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead user engagement and retention efforts across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and more. This role is crucial in building a seamless user journey from onboarding through ongoing engagement, using Braze to manage and automate campaigns. As a key part of the marketing team, you’ll help educate users about the app’s benefits, keep them informed about new blog content, and drive conversions through personalized, data-driven communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Campaigns: Own the weekly email calendar, crafting content to engage users with the app, direct them to our blog, and keep them informed about relevant updates.
- User Onboarding: Develop and optimize onboarding sequences for both basic and paid users, ensuring they quickly reach key ‘a-ha moments’ and are fully engaged with the app’s features.
- In-App Messaging & Push Notifications: Plan, execute, and test in-app messages and push notifications to drive feature adoption, re-engagement, and conversions.
- Personalization & Segmentation: Utilize Braze to create targeted segments and personalize messaging to enhance the user experience and improve engagement rates.
- A/B Testing: Conduct regular testing across channels to determine the effectiveness of content, timing, and formats, using insights to drive continuous improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the content, product, and customer success teams to align messaging and campaigns with user needs and product enhancements.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, report, and optimize lifecycle marketing metrics to ensure campaigns meet engagement, retention, and revenue goals.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing, preferably in a B2C SaaS or app-based environment.
• Hands-on experience with Braze or a similar customer engagement platform (e.g., Iterable, Leanplum).
• Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for clear, engaging copy.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Self-starter with strong project management skills and a collaborative attitude.
