Job description
Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.
We are seeking a highly motivated Lifecycle Marketing Program Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the operational backbone of the lifecycle marketing function while supporting hands-on campaign strategy and execution
- Develop comprehensive campaign briefs and strategic recommendations for lifecycle initiatives across business priorities
- Translate stakeholder objectives into actionable lifecycle marketing plans
- Support development and execution of lifecycle campaigns across email, in-app, SMS, and push channels
- Partner with cross-functional teams to guide campaign creation from ideation through execution, advising on audience strategy, messaging, and channel selection
- Educate cross-functional partners on lifecycle marketing capabilities and best practices
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide optimization recommendations in partnership with data and analytics teams
- Provide hands-on support for campaign audits, QA testing, and optimization initiatives
- Support quarterly planning and roadmap alignment with cross-functional stakeholders
- Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and workflow improvements
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI-powered tools to improve operational efficiency and creative output
- Manage ad-hoc campaigns and operational requests with clear prioritization and smooth handoffs
- Maintain comprehensive campaign calendars, coordinate timelines across lifecycle touchpoints, and flag conflicts proactively
- Strengthen cross-functional stakeholder management to ensure operational clarity and executional excellence
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience
- 4-6+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, or program management
- Experience balancing operational excellence with hands-on campaign execution
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Campaign development experience, including brief writing, stakeholder collaboration, and end-to-end execution
- Strong stakeholder management skills in cross-functional, matrixed environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear documentation and compelling briefs
- Flexible, hands-on approach with willingness to support both operational and executional needs
- Experience managing campaign calendars and resources in high-volume marketing environments
- Strong attention to detail with a systematic approach to workflow optimization
- Ability to balance operational rigor with creative problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI-powered tools to enhance marketing operations or campaign development
