Job description

Lititagor

Full-Time

Location: In-person at our Oakbrook Terrace, IL office

**Hybrid opportunity after 6-12 months

We are a full-service business law firm seeking a talented and

ambitious Litigation Associate Attorney to join our rapidly growing business and commercial litigation team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated attorney to

gain hands-on experience in various commercial, business, construction, and employment litigation matters while working alongside seasoned litigators and trial attorneys.

The firm litigates nationwide in both state and federal courts, representing an array of clients—from individuals and closely held businesses to private investment firms, large institutions, national franchises, and publicly traded companies.

We are looking for attorneys with the drive, grit, and focus to win. Our team is distinguished by an unrelenting commitment to securing the best possible outcomes for our clients, whether that means negotiating a favorable settlement, prevailing on a

dispositive motion, or winning at trial. We understand what’s at stake in every case, and we approach each case with intensity, discipline, and a refusal to cut corners.

The ideal candidate will also bring an entrepreneurial spirit to the growing office.

Key Responsibilities

 Draft and prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents

 Develop case strategy and manage all phases of litigation

 Conduct legal research and draft supporting memoranda

 Handle written and oral discovery, including discovery requests, depositions, and document production

 Appear in court for case management conferences, hearings, arbitrations, and trials

Qualifications

 2+ years of commercial litigation experience preferred, but candidates with equivalent experience in other practice areas may also be considered

 Strong litigation skills with the ability to oversee all aspects of a case with minimal oversight

 Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical abilities

 Excellent communication skills with colleagues, clients, and opposing counsel

 Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage deadlines

 Meaningful experience arguing motions and conducting evidentiary hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials

 Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Illinois

Why Us?

We offer a collegial, highly collaborative work environment where attorneys are given ample opportunities to grow and thrive. We value dedication, initiative, and, most importantly, results. We take pride in developing our attorneys and provide them with

the resources and mentorship needed for success. While obtaining favorable results for our clients is the top priority, we also encourage and provide the flexibility and resources

necessary for our associates to get involved outside of the firm and develop their own business.

Compensation & Benefits:

 Expected total compensation: $110,000 - $210,000 (heavily dependent on experience and billables)

 401(k) with employer match

 Health insurance

 Paid time off

 Maternity/Paternity leave

 Gym membership (with simulator)

 Professional development opportunities

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday

 Flexible hybrid work schedule considered after 6-12 months of employment (we highly value the benefits of our attorneys and staff being in-office, and most of our attorneys choose to work in-office 4-5 days/week).

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.
