Job description
Our Customer was founded in 1982 in an effort to create a solid accounting firm headed by native professionals. They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.
We are seeking a Live Production Professional on a contract basis to support the execution and management of live production events. This role requires strong hands-on experience with video production, videography, and video engineering, as well as the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in real-time. The ideal candidate will work primarily onsite in Chicago, IL, with potential for occasional remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and operation of audio, video, and lighting equipment for live events.
- Provide technical support during live productions to ensure smooth execution.
- Act as a video engineer and videographer during events, capturing and producing high-quality content.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary production resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during live events.
- Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards throughout the production process.
- Support video editing, video testing, and other production-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of video production, live testing, and editing experience.
- Proven skills as a video engineer and videographer.
- Strong knowledge of live event production workflows, equipment, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, live event environment with high attention to detail.
