Job description
Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.
We are seeking a Localization Operations Project Manager on a contract basis who will support the Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
What You'll Do:
- Communicate with external vendors to streamline onboarding process - managing the timely request and delivery of all company-owned equipment as well as connecting vendors with IT and Vendor Security when necessary
- Learn internal technology tools and set-up in order to troubleshoot issues for vendors
- Frequently work in Jira to triage any incoming IT/tooling issues on behalf of G11n and vendor partners, and you will execute on- and off-boarding tasks for vendor partners to maintain accuracy and visibility for LocOps and Globalization leads
- Maintain the Globalization teams central communication platforms (Slack Channels, Wiki pages, documentation and more)
- Support the Localization Operations team expand its reach and impact by executing key functions that keep the Globalization team a key part of the Company's Growth ecosystem
- Frequently update and maintain trackers alongside vendor partners to ensure all inventory, onboarding information, and personal data is continuously up-to-date
- Assist with ongoing daily operations of Localization Operations
- 1-5 years of operations experience at a tech company, non-profit or global organization spanning multiple international regions and time-zones
- Experience with project management tools such as Asana and Jira
- Experience with organizing and maintaining data/ information via documentation and trackers (Coda, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to to communicate key daily, weekly and monthly priorities to LocOps Team
- Strong ability to disperse information across multiple platforms (email, Slack, Confluence/Wiki pages, Google Docs, Coda)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence across the organization
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred
