We are seeking a Logistics Associate on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is on-site in Redmond, WA.
This role is responsible for the precise management of materials and logistics to ensure project build schedules are met, operating within a laboratory or stockroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage on-site material replenishment and distribution for program needs
- Track and maintain inventory against the Bill of Materials (BOM) for upcoming builds
- Verify alignment of physical goods, packing slips, and order confirmations
- Perform stockroom operations, including receiving, put-away, stock rotation, and cycle counts
- Prepare materials for builds in accordance with established procedures
- Identify and expedite material shortages to meet Clear-to-Build timelines
- Coordinate outbound shipments, including domestic and international logistics
- Track inbound shipments and ensure timely receipt and accuracy of deliveries
- Execute daily operations in accordance with SOPs, best practices, and work instructions
- Maintain lab and stockroom organization in compliance with EHS and 5S standards
- Independently resolve material and build-related issues using available resources
- Communicate risks, delays, or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational needs
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in inventory or materials management within an operations environment
- Hands-on experience managing physical inventory and prototype or build-related materials
- Strong understanding of inventory terminology, including BOM, shortages, and clear-to-build processes
- High attention to detail with accurate data entry and reporting skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple levels of stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with purchasing or procurement processes
- Experience working closely with engineering or prototype build teams
- Background in laboratory or technical stockroom environments
