We are seeking a Logistics Associate on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is on-site in Redmond, WA.


This role is responsible for the precise management of materials and logistics to ensure project build schedules are met, operating within a laboratory or stockroom environment.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-site material replenishment and distribution for program needs
  • Track and maintain inventory against the Bill of Materials (BOM) for upcoming builds
  • Verify alignment of physical goods, packing slips, and order confirmations
  • Perform stockroom operations, including receiving, put-away, stock rotation, and cycle counts
  • Prepare materials for builds in accordance with established procedures
  • Identify and expedite material shortages to meet Clear-to-Build timelines
  • Coordinate outbound shipments, including domestic and international logistics
  • Track inbound shipments and ensure timely receipt and accuracy of deliveries
  • Execute daily operations in accordance with SOPs, best practices, and work instructions
  • Maintain lab and stockroom organization in compliance with EHS and 5S standards
  • Independently resolve material and build-related issues using available resources
  • Communicate risks, delays, or concerns to supervisors in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational needs


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory or materials management within an operations environment
  • Hands-on experience managing physical inventory and prototype or build-related materials
  • Strong understanding of inventory terminology, including BOM, shortages, and clear-to-build processes
  • High attention to detail with accurate data entry and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with purchasing or procurement processes
  • Experience working closely with engineering or prototype build teams
  • Background in laboratory or technical stockroom environments
