Job description

By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies.


Our Customer is seeking a Logistics Support Specialist on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.


Candidates must be willing to work Saturday through Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide hourly and daily operational support for the Meal Manager program
  • Support quality management initiatives and provide feedback on standard operating procedures
  • Manage communications for delivery updates and keep customers, merchants, drivers, and internal stakeholders informed
  • Monitor fulfillment operations and proactively identify and resolve delivery challenges
  • Use internal tools to support daily operations and troubleshoot issues
  • Interact regularly with customers, merchants, and drivers to provide operational support
  • Contribute to the launch and support of new pilot initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in logistics support, including managing delivery communications and stakeholder updates
  • Experience using email and Slack for operational communications
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to learn and use internal operational tools
  • Availability to work Saturday through Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Last-mile logistics or delivery customer service experience (e.g., FedEx, UPS, or other high-visibility delivery operations)
  • Experience with Slack
