Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
Our Customer is seeking a highly skilled contract Machine Learning AI Developer to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid in Sunnvale, CA.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance the organization’s security, efficiency, and operational capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to address complex challenges in areas such as threat detection, anomaly detection, and risk assessment.
- Develop AI-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing IT infrastructure and security systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases that align with organizational goals.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to process large volumes of logs, telemetry signals, and other relevant data sources.
- Manage cloud-based AI/ML infrastructure using services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated model training, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure the security and integrity of AI models and data throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay current with advancements in AI/ML technologies and security trends to incorporate new techniques into solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Overall 10 Years experience with 3+ years of experience developing and implementing machine learning models, preferably in IT or cybersecurity contexts.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of data processing tools and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and tools such as SIEM or IDS/IPS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex challenges creatively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or large language models (LLMs).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or research publications in the field.
