Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.


We are seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote - PST preferred.



Responsibilities:

  • Define and operationalize high-risk churn signals and translate insights into lifecycle retention strategies
  • Design, launch, and optimize CRM-driven customer journeys across onboarding, inactivity, renewal risk, and other key lifecycle moments
  • Develop and execute A/B tests, holdout tests, and journey optimization initiatives to improve subscriber retention
  • Partner with Product, Analytics, Monetization, Engagement, and CRM Operations teams to drive retention strategies
  • Lead CRM campaign execution across Email, Push, and In-App channels in partnership with Creative, Operations, and Production teams
  • Identify high-impact opportunities to improve customer retention and reduce subscriber churn
  • Monitor campaign and cohort performance and provide actionable optimization recommendations
  • Present campaign results, insights, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Influence cross-functional decisions that improve subscriber renewal and retention


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing large datasets using Excel, Smartsheet, or similar tools
  • 5+ years of experience with written and verbal communication, including developing and delivering presentations
  • 5+ years of experience creating presentations and visual storytelling using PowerPoint or similar tools
  • Strong experience building and optimizing customer journeys using CRM platforms such as Braze, Salesforce, or Adobe
  • Proven experience developing data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies to improve retention and reduce churn
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable business strategies
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for streaming, entertainment, or subscription-based products
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages
  • Experience using AI/ML tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Microsoft Copilot
