Job description

Our Customer is an American worldwide clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are available in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.

We are seeking a Paid Social Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is a hybrid setup in New York, NY.

The Manager, Paid Social is responsible for end to end management of Social ad trafficking across multiple company brands, and standardizing performance reporting across the portfolio of brands. Sitting within the broader Marketing Shared Services organization, this role is part of a new approach, providing a centralized activation arm for Paid Social investment across brands. In this role, you will work closely with the Sr Managers, Paid Social, brand creative and production teams, and Media Agency partners to drive efficiency and effectiveness in all Paid Social.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day Paid Social creative trafficking for company brands, ensuring consistency and accuracy with ad all ads in market.
  • Brief paid social assets on a monthly basis and evolve requirements based on media performance and changes to landscape.
  • Lead communication with media agency and creative teams, ensuring that all ads are launched in a timely manner and that best practices are followed.
  • Consistently manage workflows with creative teams and production teams and meet agency SLAs for campaigns.
  • Regularly conduct research and due diligence to identify Paid Social innovation opportunities and best practices that will elevate brands in the marketplace
  • Partner with Paid Social Senior Managers on monthly budget and performance forecasting.
  • Lead the standardization of social reporting and weekly insights across brands.
  • Establish and drive continuous improvements to creative workflows, by staying atop platform best practices and industry trends.
  • Support Director in sharing paid social insights for the portfolio.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years marketing experience with 3+ years experience in paid social
  • Experience planning and executing paid social media campaigns
  • Knowledge of paid social channels, creative best practices, and trends
  • Experience in a highly complex, matrixed organization with a proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive change
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage up, down, and across
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work through ambiguity, continuously improve ways of working, and infuse strategic thinking into your work.
  • Strategy: Effectively execute strategy, consistently pursue business and marketing objectives, manage breakthrough media campaigns, adopt innovations and new practices, and surface cross-portfolio media best-practices
  • Planning: Support planning of media campaigns to advance company and brand-specific goals, optimize activities and expenses to ensure campaign results, prioritize key levers to achieving business objectives, and implement relevant processes to help COE and brand teams deliver results
  • Leadership: Demonstrate ability to work independently, facilitate collaboration, identify opportunities for growth, be a consistent team player, take initiative, and proactively identify potential issues and recommend solutions
  • Teamwork: Execute the directives of the company's mission, manage and work efficiently with various stakeholders, be solution- and service-oriented, and communicate effectively and directly
  • Ownership: Demonstrate subject matter expertise, establish presence with team, demonstrate strong presentation and written communication skills, own mistakes and work quickly to find solutions, and showcase initiative
