Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Fremont, CA)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Technician-II to support the final testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electromechanical equipment before machines leave the assembly line.

This role is highly hands-on and requires strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, experience with electrical testing, and the ability to interpret functional schematics and circuit diagrams. The technician will identify and resolve equipment issues, execute command-line test scripts, analyze CAN network data, and maintain accurate testing and troubleshooting documentation.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment during final testing.
• Perform basic electrical testing, including measuring:
  • Voltage
  • Resistance
  • Continuity
  • Isolation testing on sensitive equipment
• Execute scripts and queries through a command-line interface (CLI).
• Maintain and update test procedures and troubleshooting documentation.
• Interpret functional schematics and circuit diagrams to diagnose system issues.
• Analyze CAN network data for system-level diagnostics.
• Use hand tools and electrical test equipment to troubleshoot and validate equipment.
• Identify, document, and communicate both known and newly discovered issues with a high level of attention to detail.
• Support final equipment testing to ensure machines meet quality and functional requirements before shipment.

• 2+ years of experience working with electromechanical systems.
• Strong triaging and troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on electrical testing experience, including voltage, resistance, continuity, and isolation testing.
• Experience using hand tools and electrical test equipment.
• Experience with CAN bus tools and data-logging systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Familiarity with command-line interfaces and executing scripts/queries.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document technical issues.

Must-Haves:

1. 2+ years of electromechanical systems experience
2. Strong troubleshooting / triaging skills
3. Electrical testing experience — voltage, resistance, continuity, and isolation testing
4. CAN bus tools and data logging experience
5. Ability to read and interpret schematics / circuit diagrams
6. Command-line interface experience

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with final testing or equipment validation in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience maintaining technical test and troubleshooting documentation.
• Experience diagnosing complex machine/system-level issues.
