Job description
Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.
We are seeking a Marketing Account Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Account Manager builds and maintains strong partnerships with key strategic clients, delivers against client campaign goals, runs complex campaigns across multiple marketing channels, and supports the ongoing evolution and integration of holistic planning and delivery for the business.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage campaign strategy and execution expertise to optimize client campaigns and support strategic business initiatives with a focus on efficiency and compliance.
- Manage campaign execution across multiple marketing channels, including direct mail, email, paid media, earned media, and marketplace.
- Build strategic client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor and providing thought leadership, insights, and strategic guidance.
- Anticipate client needs and provide solutions aligned with business goals and market trends.
- Lead cross-functional client marketing meetings to develop execution strategies that support new accounts, sales, and net income goals.
- Serve as liaison and primary point of contact for milestone tracking, change control requests, process exceptions, and omnichannel optimization opportunities.
- Establish and lead regular campaign portfolio reviews to track progress, resolve roadblocks, and identify optimization opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams to forecast channel capacity, prioritize campaigns, and balance workloads.
- Drive incident management and corrective actions for client marketing campaigns when needed.
- Build strong relationships across functional teams supporting marketing execution.
- Manage strategic client projects and support process improvements across channels.
- Act as Agile scrum master when required.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of professional experience in sales, marketing, or operations.
- Minimum 4 years of marketing experience, including project management and client relationship management.
- Strong campaign execution experience across multiple marketing channels.
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing deadlines and multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to synthesize information, connect business impacts, and anticipate needs.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with omnichannel marketing execution.
- Understanding of paid media execution, including tagging, trafficking, and audience segmentation.
- Familiarity with digital audience platforms such as LiveRamp for search, social, display/programmatic, and affiliate channels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Adobe Workfront for campaign execution and project management.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong adaptability and ability to navigate changing regulatory, strategic, and market conditions.
- Curiosity and openness to new ideas, processes, and business approaches.
