Job description
Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.
We are seeking a Marketing Account Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Account Manager is responsible for both managing & cultivating strong partnerships with key strategic clients/businesses, delivering against client campaign business goals, delivering complex campaigns across multiple marketing execution channels, and supporting the continual evolution and integration of holistic planning and delivery for the business.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage campaign strategy and execution expertise to optimize client campaigns and support key business initiatives with a focus on operational excellence and compliance
- Manage campaign execution across multiple marketing channels, including direct mail, email, paid media, earned media, and marketplace platforms
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with client teams as a trusted advisor and influencer
- Provide thought leadership, strategic guidance, and actionable insights to support client business objectives
- Anticipate client needs and recommend solutions aligned with industry trends and business goals
- Lead cross-functional client marketing meetings and collaborate with internal experts to develop execution strategies that support new account growth, sales, and net income goals
- Act as Agile team scrum master when needed, and support strategic client projects and process improvement initiatives
- Serve as the central point of contact for milestone tracking, change requests, process exceptions, and omnichannel optimization opportunities
- Establish and lead campaign portfolio review processes to monitor execution progress, address roadblocks, and identify optimization opportunities
- Partner with internal teams to forecast channel capacity, prioritize campaigns, and manage workload balancing
- Coordinate campaign incident management and corrective actions in partnership with remediation and compliance teams when necessary
- Build collaborative relationships across key functional teams supporting marketing execution plans
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required or high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of professional experience in sales, marketing, or operations within a corporate environment
- Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience, including project management and client relationship management
- Strong experience managing omnichannel marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience leading cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to synthesize information, identify impacts, and anticipate business needs
- Experience with marketing workflow and project management platforms such as Workfront
- Understanding of paid media execution components, including tagging, trafficking, digital audiences, search, social, display/programmatic, and affiliate marketing
- Familiarity with audience management platforms such as Liveramp
- Experience with Agile methodologies, tools, teams, or processes
- Strong collaboration and adaptability skills
- Ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Curiosity, adaptability, and openness to evolving business strategies and market changes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience serving as an Agile scrum master
- Experience managing campaign incident resolution and compliance-related processes
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale marketing operations
- Experience with omnichannel optimization and campaign portfolio management
