Seeking Super-Organized Agency Account Manager With Proven Results

Account Manager

$35-45+/hour

25+ Hours/week

1099* (see note below)

Are you a motivated, driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment? At our digital marketing agency, we set high standards for ourselves and the work we deliver, because we care deeply about helping our clients succeed. We partner with independent financial advisors to share their stories, showcase their value, and help them reach more people in their communities. While our team values the flexibility of working remote, we’re also dedicated, focused, and committed to excellence. You’ll join a supportive group of talented professionals who push projects forward, hold themselves accountable, and take pride in creating marketing that truly makes a difference.

*This role will begin as a 1099 contractor position, working 30+ hours per week. After a successful ramp-up period (approximately 3–6 months), there is an opportunity to transition to a W-2 employee role based on performance and business needs.

Candidate must have paid ads management and lead generation campaign experience.

What Does an Account Manager Do?

The account manager’s primary objective is to serve as a strategic partner to advisor clients and drive their marketing success by proactively managing campaigns, providing expert guidance, and fostering long-term relationships built on trust, results, and consistent delivery of impactful marketing solutions.

Account managers play a crucial role and work directly with advisor clients on their marketing strategies, paid ad campaigns, marketing calendars, article creation, editing processes, compliance approvals, deployment of their content, and more.

You will also work as a marketing consultant, pushing the advisor to follow our guidance to do marketing that will move the needle for their firm. The account manager is the relationship owner, and interfaces directly with the advisor (via email, phone calls and Zoom meetings) to establish a connection and positive rapport that will keep the advisor on board long-term.

Depending on the client needs and marketing plan, the account manager may have set deliverables to produce each month or they may get to flex their creativity muscles and develop a marketing strategy tailored specifically for that client.

Required Skills and Experience

  1. Strong professional communication skills
  2. Marketing experience (Social media, email drip campaigns, etc).
  3. 3-5 years account manager experience
  4. Financial services experience a plus
  5. A minimum of a basic understanding of SEO best practices and keyword rankings
  6. Ability to oversee Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads and/or Google Ads campaigns
  7. Ability to effectively communicate and solve complex issues (primarily by email)
  8. Ability to offer marketing strategy advice
  9. Phone and Zoom availability required (approx. 1-3 hours per week)

Does This Sound Like You? Character Traits to Be Successful:

  1. Strong organizational skills—nothing falls through the cracks!
  2. Can-do positive attitude focused on creating and executing solutions
  3. Forward-thinking, innovative individual who takes initiative to get things done
  4. Results-driven
  5. Unflappable poise and professionalism—you can see past a potentially hostile email tone and still offer a way to help.
  6. Ability to deal with many different personality types, including perfectionists!
