Job description
Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Marketing Analyst on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in New York City (Flat Iron District).
Responsibilities:
- Leverage research resources across linear and non-linear media platforms to deliver data-driven insights and consumer intelligence
- Support reporting needs through the production of daily, weekly, and monthly research reports
- Provide research support and recommendations for senior executives and cross-functional business groups
- Analyze competitive trends and the evolving television and media landscape through ad-hoc reporting and audience analysis
- Communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations through presentations, meetings, emails, and strategy discussions
- Develop creative and innovative approaches to uncover consumer insights and marketplace trends
- Support content strategy, marketing initiatives, and competitive analysis through audience and market research
- Assist with survey design, programming, and analysis activities
- Support community and panel management initiatives when needed
Skills/Qualifications
- Relevant professional experience accepted in place of a Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with Nielsen data and systems, including NPower, Star Media, Nielsen Content Link, and Lake5
- Experience with Comscore preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with survey design, survey programming, and survey analysis
- Experience with community and panel management preferred
- Experience using Alida preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Strong research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate data and insights clearly to various stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving media environment
