They focus on how their customers connect and interact with the digital world, with products sold in almost every country of the world. They have developed into a multi-brand company designing products that bring people together through music, gaming, video and computing.

We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Professional on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is onsite in San Jose, CA.

This role will work with the Verticals and Business Accelerator team, which is launching and nurturing high growth businesses for the company and providing innovative technology solutions for customers. This role will help the company build a strong presence in the US government vertical by bringing a deep understanding of the IT decision maker customer audience and developing foundational marketing and communications materials.

What You'll Do

  • Audience insights and trends: Provide insights into the target IT decision maker buyer and influencer audiences, buying considerations, and government technology procurement regulations and trends to inform marketing, communication, and product portfolio development.
  • Help shape foundational marketing & communication strategy including competitive benchmarking, messaging, and editorial calendar
  • Marketing content creation: Craft compelling marketing and communications content such as thought leadership articles, bylines, internal and external blog posts, webinar/ event presentations, digital advertising, etc. in partnership with internal cross-functional teams and external agency partners.
  • Earned & social media: Develop and execute earned media strategy, including pitching stories and product news, creating media lists and coordinating outreach. Shape social media strategy, prioritizing most critical channels to build and complement the social ecosystem, and support execution
  • Sales enablement: Lead work on solutions guides, pitch decks, product datasheets, training courses, and other sales enablement materials to be activated across a range of touchpoints.
  • Industry partnerships: identify and engage with key industry and alliances partners and influencer communities in collaboration with partnership marketing and business development colleagues.
Must-haves
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant B2B marketing and communication experience in the technology sector
  • Deep understanding of and marketing/communication experience with the US government IT decision maker buyer audience
  • Ability to translate insights into impact: build plans, identify and execute the highest impact ideas and tactics to achieve business objectives
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude
  • Track record of delivering exceptional business results
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%
