Social Media Coordinator / Marketing Specialist

1099 project

Remote

Seeking a highly motivated Junior Marketing Coordinator on a contract basis to support the Marketing team, and be responsible for driving awareness, consideration, and conversion through multichannel campaigns, social media, brand experiences, influencer marketing, and email marketing.


In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping the marketing programs running smoothly by managing social media, key marketing initiatives, and assisting with minimal PR support around events and announcements. You’ll work closely with the organization, gaining exposure to all aspects of integrated marketing.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation, scheduling and management of content for social media.
  • Create reporting templates to regularly report on social media impact and growth.
  • Design marketing & advertising materials for prospective nominees, sponsors, clients.
  • Conduct research into customer trends and behaviors and report to the marketing team.
  • Assist in planning and running category-specific influencer marketing programs, including outreach, relationship management, and performance tracking.
  • Monitor and follow winners, sponsors, and partners on social media; identify opportunities to reshare and amplify their updates across company channels.
  • Collect and analyze event-related data through surveys, feedback forms, and reporting tools to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in managing and updating the company website with fresh content as required.
  • Support virtual and in-person events through marketing initiatives.
