Job description

We are seeking a Marketing Associate on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. The main function of a marketing associate is to assist the marketing team with developing, executing, and measuring marketing programs for lead generation, market awareness, website enhancement, and sales support activities.

What You’ll Do:


  • Manage paid and evergreen digital marketing campaigns across display, social, email, etc. to drive awareness, consideration, and product adoption

  • Assist with branding and developing of marketing campaigns dedicated to heightened branding awareness, cultivating leads, enhancing partner relationships, and increasing sales efforts.

  • Write and manage content for online social media outlets.

  • Increase online awareness and branding by utilizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

  • Ability to strategize on marketing campaigns and see-through inception to press. Must be able to creatively write content and then create a finished product to be sent out for marketing purposes.

  • Ability to head up marketing projects within deadline and budget.

Must Haves:


  • 8+ years of digital marketing experience with a track record of increased responsibility

  • Maintain a deep understanding of website experiences and recommend unique opportunities to leverage content, creativity, and technology that may drive or influence the execution

  • Strong knowledge of digital design principles, usability and UX principles, and branding best practices

  • Proficient in HTML/XML/CSS

  • Expertise with various content management systems (WordPress, Joomla!, or similar)

  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Expert in multiple digital marketing channels, including Customer Ads, Display, Email, SEM

  • Proficient in various Customer Interfaces: Ads Manager, Power Editor, Business Manager, Page Insights,

  • Strong business acumen and quantitative analytical skills

  • Experience with Marketo or similar email marketing automation platform

  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.

  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or journalism.

Hours & Location: 

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Seattle, WA or New York, NY office once it is determined safe to do so.
