Job description
Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager on a contract basis to support our customer's business needs. This role is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Share and apply marketing communications best practices and insights across the US Marketing teams (and cross-functional departments as applicable)
- Lead the development of the annual communication plan for all assigned US Marketing teams
- Work with appropriate internal customers to identify and coordinate new project requirements and develop project scope
- Defines the responsibilities of parties involved in the project including internal customers, management and project teams affected by the project
- Defines the customer journey and provides recommendations on individual assets and integrated campaign strategies
- Manage end-to-end creative process for all US marketing customer communications, presentations, sales tools, and other marketing collateral including serving as document manager for all material requiring regulatory approval
- Manage collaboration with marketing agencies including timeline adherence
- Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of projects. Facilitate amicable solutions with the appropriate customer(s).
- Communicate overall project status, decisions, issues and risks, effectively tailoring communications for appropriate audiences
Qualifications
- Minimum BA/BS degree. PMP or another Project Management Certification preferred or nice to have
- Solid, demonstrated 3+ years cross-functional project management and/or marketing communications experience, managing multiple detailed schedules and projects
- Experience working with Legal, Privacy, Regulatory, Clinical departments to approve content; regulated healthcare or medical device experience preferred
- Proven effectiveness when working under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication, writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to communicate at all levels within the organization, to technical, business, and executive stakeholders; expert-level fluency in written English, ability to work across multiple regions and time zones
- Preferred experience in presentation design and email marketing platforms (i.e. Knak)
- Experience using shared project management software and AI tools
- Ability to make sound decisions and resolve problems while juggling multiple priorities
- Travel - 5% domestic
