Job description
Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.
Our Customer is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator on a contract basis to support the Integrated Marketing team, a group responsible for driving awareness, consideration, and conversion through multichannel campaigns, brand experiences, influencer marketing, and account-based marketing. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping the marketing programs running smoothly by managing logistics, operations, budgets, and deliverables. You’ll work closely with teams across the organization, gaining exposure to all aspects of integrated marketing.
This role is critical to ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives, working cross-functionally to manage logistics, operations, budget, and deliverables to enable the Integrated Marketing team to deliver outsized impact. Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to a team of 12, helping drive integrated media campaigns, experiential activations, influencer partnerships, and account-based marketing initiatives.
- Manage operational and logistical tasks for media campaigns and events, including working closely with external agencies, marketing operations, creative, ad operations, finance, and legal teams to facilitate the launch and execution of programs.
- Collaborate with internal marketing operations stakeholders to ensure the timely execution of marketing tactics, including submission of Jira tickets, creative specifications, asset delivery, etc.
- Coordinate with ad operations and external vendors to enable the tracking and quality assurance of media tactics, including UTM tag creations, pixel implementation, vanity URL creations, and ad trafficking.
- Work closely with marketing operations and analytics teams to track leads, ensuring tracking parameters are set up accurately, data is captured, and routed correctly.
- Coordinate budget-related tasks, including the creation of purchase requests, purchase orders, and authorizations to buy ("ATBs"), and the pacing and tracking of spend against budgets.
- Oversee vendor onboarding processes by facilitating contract and SOW management, partnering with procurement and accounting to ensure accurate vendor set-up, and supporting documentation throughout the process.
- Coordinate and maintain team calendars and roadmaps, ensuring accuracy for all team members and partners.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency in campaign and event planning and execution.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing, project management, operations, or a related field
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with project management tools (such as Jira, Asana, or similar platforms)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating across diverse teams
- Familiarity with media or event planning processes is a plus
- Experience supporting vendor relationships or coordinating deliverables is a plus
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
- Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in the marketing field
