Job description
Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (3 days onsite and 2 days remote/week) in Culver City, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Support the overall creative team by taking notes during feedback calls, sharing feedback with relevant partners, input into Marketing decks, routing materials to legal, etc.
- Work can include supporting key art development, including the trafficking of creative briefing materials, researching comparable titles, creating mood boards, etc.
- This role also takes part in the development of social creative, brainstorming ideas, assisting in Talent Communication, helping with relevant pull clips, etc.
Qualifications
- BA or equivalent job experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in the creative industry, preferably in the entertainment industry
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and supporting more than 1 team.
- Digital savvy and understanding of content streaming and social media platforms.
- Experience with Photoshop, Google Slides, and Microsoft Suite.
- Experience with Social media tools (Monday.com, AirTable, Slack, etc.).
- You're a creative individual, adept at chiming in with commentary but also willing to listen and learn
- You have a passion for storytelling, TV, streaming, and movies
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are a quick learner who is willing to "get your hands dirty" and also bring an enthusiasm for sharing your knowledge
- You are digitally savvy with an understanding of content streamers and social media platforms
- Strong multi-tasking skills, organizational, and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative work environment
- A willingness to learn and a positive attitude
Preferred:
- Experience working at an Entertainment Studio, TV Network, or Streaming Platform, or Creative Agency.
- Extensive knowledge in Movie and Television Fandoms.
