Position Overview
We’re seeking a Marketing & Industry Relations Manager to lead our marketing strategy, expand our brand visibility, and strengthen our presence in the aviation industry. This role combines marketing execution, relationship building, content creation, and event strategy. You will be the driving force behind how JETPUBS shows up in the market, engages new clients, and supports our sales team. This is a “swiss-army-knife” role where someone with a lot of entrepreneurial spirit and marketing experience will thrive in an opportunity to build business, with a small, fast-paced, highly accurate team.
A Day in the Life
As the Marketing & Industry Relations Manager, every day is different, but here’s what a typical day might look like:
- Morning: Draft and publish a LinkedIn article highlighting a client success story, then align with the sales team on the week’s lead generation targets.
- Midday: Finalize booth plans for an upcoming tradeshow, coordinate with vendors, and connect with an industry partner to discuss a sponsorship opportunity.
- Afternoon: Review inbound leads, qualify prospects, and pass warm opportunities to sales. Build marketing collateral for a client presentation.
- Late Afternoon: Join a client call to cover for sales during a travel day, ensuring a seamless experience. Wrap up by analyzing campaign performance in HubSpot and planning next week’s content calendar.
Responsibilities
- Lead outbound marketing across email, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Generate and publish original content, including articles, posts, and thought leadership pieces.
- Create compelling case studies showcasing client successes.
- Develop and qualify leads, partnering with sales to grow the pipeline.
- Build and maintain aviation industry relationships, representing JETPUBS with associations and partners.
- Own tradeshow strategy, logistics, and execution – from booth planning to on-site presence.
- Collaborate with clients and provide backup sales support as needed.
- Develop sales and marketing assets that enable client-facing teams.
- Identify sponsorship and PR opportunities to expand brand reach.
Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing, business development, or PR experience (aviation industry preferred).
- B2B marketing background, ideally with SaaS or technology-enabled services.
- Strong writing and content creation skills.
- Proven success generating leads and building industry partnerships.
- Event and tradeshow management experience.
- High-energy, relationship-driven communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, client success, and leadership teams.
- Ability to travel to the office located in Hudson, WI 4-5 times out of the year.
