Job description

Our Customer is a technology company that connects people with the best of their neighborhoods across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. They enable local businesses to meet consumers’ needs of ease and convenience, and, in turn, generate new ways for people to earn, work, and live. By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

As a direct owner of part of this segment, you will be critical in helping to build and execute marketing strategy across some of the largest and most strategic clients, including consulting on marketing plans, partnering cross-functionally to bring campaigns forward, and building learnings and insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Design a best-in-class marketing playbook to drive merchant sales and ROI. Develop and foster strong relationships and create annual marketing plans for top partners, working with their marketing teams to execute and drive growth.
  • Partner with net new launch merchants to build out brand awareness and acquire new customers.
  • Respond to emerging partner trends and test new marketing methods for both retention and acquisition.
  • Own and nurture marketing relationships with some of the largest and high-profile Restaurant and Convenience partnerships, develop annual and quarterly integrated marketing strategies and plans while driving alignment with internal and external stakeholders
  • Create regular internal and partner-facing reports to track campaign and promotion performance
  • Use a data-first approach to improve campaigns against the goals, improve profitability, achieve results, and identify new opportunities for growth

Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have 5+ years of professional experience in a partnership marketing role
  • You are comfortable operating at highly strategic and tactical levels, switching between them effortlessly
  • You can quickly build relationships and trust with external partners and marketing teams
  • You are deeply grounded in audience insights through partnership with research, analytics, and by driving original research to define the needs of the consumer audience
  • You have a track record of leveraging insights to build consensus with large cross-functional teams and of building trusted relationships with senior marketing leaders
  • You have a proven track record of driving successful co-partnership marketing campaigns that drive customer adoption and top-line impact
  • Fluency with data - including market/segment sizing, forecasting, and working with analytics to understand efficacy of campaigns after the fact

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
