Job description

Our client is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join the team.

They are a woman-owned tech startup that provides comprehensive and personalized scouting trip planning services for Americans planning to move abroad. Their clients will explore ideal destination abroad by gaining deeper insights into cities, neighborhoods, as well as local culture and amenities of countries that have been designated as some of the most sought-after destinations for Americans. They offer custom-built travel plans in the form of a dynamic digital dashboard with real data and personalized guides about living abroad, checklists, and resources that facilitate successful scouting trip experiences.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across channels. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies, and is able to collaborate with the CEO and executive team in building a strong foundation for our new company.

Core responsibilities

  1. Plan and execute digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and website blog updates
  2. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  3. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  4. Plan, execute, and measure experiments, conversion tests, and growth strategies
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  6. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  7. Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners

Qualifications/Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  2. 5+ experience in digital marketing and advertising
  3. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  4. Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels, and with A/B and multivariate experiments
  5. Working knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends), and ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
  6. Experience in tools such as Audienceful and Metricool to manage email campaigns and social media
  7. Working knowledge of Canva or other graphic design tools to collaborate with graphic designer
  8. Copywriting expertise for social media captions, email marketing, and blog posts
