The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a Seed Stage VC-backed fintech company founded by industry veterans with prior exits. Role
Although we have a group of wonderful freelance marketers, from email specialists to performance marketers, we are looking for our first full-time marketing hire to take take control of our strategy and lead our core marketing efforts. In this role, you will work with our executive team to help develop and oversee our marketing strategy for D2C customer acquisition, as well as B2B2C initiatives. You will focus on cost effectively strategizing and executing campaigns with measurable results that can be evaluated for ongoing optimization. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter exhibiting professionalism and exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills. Who you are
- 5 years experience marketing a consumer-facing technology solution. Experience with a mobile-first solution is essential. Fintech experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience distilling complex solutions into compelling narratives
- Ability to effectively manage external resources, while collaborating with internal teams
- Track record of working as an individual contributor where needed
- Self-directed and entrepreneurial
- Interest in financial wellness and wellbeing, and a passion for finding solutions to big problems
- Able to organize and track multiple projects simultaneously, and pivot with shifts in priorities and initiatives
- Undergraduate degree with major in appropriate area of study (business, marketing, media studies or communications).
Responsibilities
- Establish and execute customer acquisition strategies for D2C and B2B2C initiatives with a focus on app instals and app subscriptions
- Ideate and create compelling narratives and materials to attract targeted audiences
- Help develop promotions and other marketing initiatives with distribution partners
- Manage and oversee freelancers and independent contractors necessary to implement strategy while maintaining budget
- Help manage PR and media relations
- Analyze results and transform insights into successful marketing tactics and communications
- Own analytics and reporting to show CAC:LTV, conversion rates and other agreed KPIs, offering actionable insights that improve ROI
