Job description
Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.
We are searching for a Marketing Manager on a contract basis to support our customer's ongoing business needs. This is a remote role with EST hours.
Role Summary/Purpose:
The Marketing Manager will support the a Cobrand marketing team working on programs driving acquisitions, cardholder spend and engagement. This role will work with Partner Acquisition, Lifecycle and Digital Marketing Leaders to drive efficient, effective, and timely execution of marketing programs. Additionally, this role supports critical marketing capabilities like retention and upgrade efforts that span across Cobrands to drive portfolio growth.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Become team subject matter expert in all Marketing Reviews, Legal & Compliance Reviews
• Support marketing program development and execution including creative development and execution, campaign workbook set up and approval oversight, collateral management, legal reviews and revisions, and marketing services / outside agency management
• Lead the internal campaign review process and coordinate materials needed for each (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Fair Lending, Offer Review Board)
• Manage campaign execution and fulfillment as needed for partner
• Develop and manage Purchase Order/Invoice requests for OEM partners and Synchrony suppliers
• Act as a key liaison between Marketing Team & Legal Team
• Support the oversight of campaign overview / tracking / results documents across Acquisitions and Lifecycle and create repository for campaign summaries / results
• Support documentation needs for any remediation required within Marketing
• Provide support for other strategic projects, as needed
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 4+ years of proven experience in a marketing function at a multi-product/multi-channel financial services or retail organization
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, or in lieu of degree, 8+ years of marketing experience in retail, financial services, credit card and/or payments industry

• Proven experience in marketing and program management execution and results analysis
• Consumer finance experience and related industry experience
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Proven ability to work independently
• Open to receiving & giving feedback
• Collaborative style and approach with comfort working in a matrixed, decentralized structure
• Experience working with WorkFront or comparable campaign management applications is a plus
• Strong PC proficiency (MS Office Suite) or comparable software applications
