Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.
Role Summary
As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive revenue growth with an entrepreneurial mindset bringing bold ideas and an experimental analytical mindset. The right performance marketing leader will enjoy making a big impact, thrive in a fast-moving environment and be comfortable with multi-channel programs.
This individual will lead the digital marketing offering as part of a broader digital marketing team dedicated to one the a large retail partner. This role will involve meeting with internal and external clients, much like a digital agency, to understand their requirements and identify areas for digital to add value. This individual will be responsible for delivering campaigns across: web, mobile, social, video and working cross-platform with marketing and digital teams to build integrated campaigns and share best practices.
The Digital Marketing Mgr. will be a commercially-minded digital marketer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Manage the commercialization and marketing delivery and implementation of new product launches in-line with agreed marketing plans and budgets
• Develop, implement and manage channel marketing plans to deliver business plan volumes and value targets both online
• Work closely with the Digital teams across Platforms to ensure SEM/PPC, Programmatic, Content, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media are optimized and delivering against both volume and value targets
• Leverage and build upon the digital playbook working closely with internal stakeholders and digital teams within the organization to deliver targeted and engaging offers to B2C and B2B customers through channels including, Email and Social Media and other customer contact points and journeys
• Build out the digital marketing playbook across products and platforms to reflect evolving opportunity in digital space.
• Create and maintain a strong collaborative presence and work collaboratively across the organization.
• Drive an agile style environment of constant experimentation and learning
• Improve understanding of customer behaviour, analytics, marketing, user experience and marketplace dynamics by partnering closely with the Analytics, Media Reporting and Analytic and Insights teams to deliver accurate, insightful and actionable Management Information
• Determine the optimum approach for delivery of the channel plans through a rigorous test and learn programs to constantly improve the effectiveness of each channel
• Monitor the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns and make appropriate recommendations where required to achieve targets and make the appropriate return on investment
• Manage and continuously improve the relationship with colleagues within external partners ensuring marketing plans are delivered to agreed timescales and enabling strong relationships at all levels with key stakeholders
• Continuously track and measure campaign developments and provide digital marketing recommendations to stakeholders across the organization
• Educate and advocate to ensure that all programs and activities relating to campaigns meet all regulatory, compliance and internal audit requirements
• Research and project manage technology/tools that would support digital asset management for the organization
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 10 years of digital marketing experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of marketing or communications experience in a regulated consumer environment that includes (can be concurrent):
• 3 years of direct marketing experience using customer data analysis and segmentation
• 3 years of experience utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, or other performance tools to manage digital marketing metrics
• 3 years of experience with paid digital media, inclusive of ad words and display marketing
