Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.


We are seeking a Marketing Manager on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in New York City.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage production processes for worldwide packaging, merchandising/POP, and creative advertising materials from layout and mechanical files through localization, pre-press, mock-up, print, and manufacturing.
  • Manage workflows for assigned projects and ensure the timely delivery of assets and materials from creative teams through production vendors.
  • Maintain template compliance and visual consistency across packaging and merchandising materials.
  • Coordinate with approved vendors to ensure pre-press, print, manufacturing, digital, and fulfillment deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain project timelines, schedules, deliverables, and deadlines within creative production databases such as Monday.com.
  • Review, update, and communicate project status reports and upcoming deadlines to creative services, marketing, operations, and global partners.
  • Manage packaging file neutralization and style guide creation for international territories.
  • Verify legal verbiage, logos, artwork positioning, file layers, and file formats for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate style guide assignments across vendors and manage workload distribution.
  • Manage procurement, purchase orders, invoice approvals, billing, and budget tracking for assigned projects.
  • Monitor project costs and communicate budget variances to key stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage archival processing and distribution of project assets across departments and territories.
  • Attend marketing, creative, operations, and cross-functional meetings from project kickoff through execution milestones.
  • Collaborate with production leadership, creative teams, and vendors to maintain workflow efficiency and project prioritization.
  • Manage multi-format product packaging initiatives and recommend custom packaging and merchandising solutions.
  • Coordinate print bids and vendor selection for special and custom production work.
  • Review and approve layouts, mechanical files, mock-ups, proofs, color corrections, retouching, and manufacturing outputs.
  • Ensure final domestic, international, and localized files meet quality standards and production timelines.
  • Assign production due dates and manage production workflow timelines.
  • Approve proofing, manufacturing execution, revisions, and final billing costs.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards and filing systems for production jobs.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong expertise in packaging, print, and merchandising production processes.
  • Experience managing production workflows from concept through manufacturing and fulfillment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of creative production processes, localization, and pre-press workflows.
  • Ability to interface effectively with diverse creative teams and production vendors.
  • Strong understanding of color accuracy, print quality, and creative execution standards.
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads in fast-paced production environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow and interpret written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Experience with budgeting, procurement, invoice management, and cost tracking.
  • Familiarity with production tracking and scheduling systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using scheduling and workflow management platforms such as Monday.com.
