Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.


We are seeking a Marketing Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. The primary purpose of this position is to precisely execute all sold digital campaigns with an emphasis on video and display advertising across web, mobile, & CTV.


This role is hybrid (3 days remote and 2 days on-site/week) in Knoxville, TN.



Responsibilities:


Setup & Creative Management

  • QA creatives against site and industry specifications using various tools and communicate any creative issues to Account Services
  • Respond to technical questions from Client Success and Sales teams
  • Set up and schedule campaigns in ad servers (Google Ad Manager and FreeWheel)
  • Traffic multiple creative formats (video, display banners, native, etc.) across live, on-demand, vertical video, and addressable inventory across the digital footprint

Troubleshooting Campaign Issues

  • Create test pages across various creative types
  • Investigate discrepancies and creative rendering issues at launch and throughout the campaign flight
  • Manage technical issues related to delivery, functionality, reporting, and ad-serving technology; proactively investigate and escalate issues to the appropriate teams for resolution

Campaign Management

  • Monitor campaign launch to ensure all placements go live accurately and smoothly
  • Monitor first-party and third-party delivery, report discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Prepare campaign reporting for internal teams
  • Monitor campaign performance throughout flight to ensure full delivery; provide optimization recommendations and identify opportunities for prospective advertisers
  • Consistently work toward exceeding client goals and revenue expectations while supporting personal development and internal relationship-building
  • Support additional related tasks as needed
  • Provide weekend and after-hours support as required

Organizational Excellence

  • Ensure processes and system integrations are optimized for efficiency
  • Assist in updating process documentation
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for business improvements and operational efficiency


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Digital trafficking experience (1+ years) with Google Ad Manager and/or FreeWheel
  • Data analysis experience (2+ years) using Excel, Smartsheet, pivot tables, and similar tools
  • Sales workflow management experience (1+ years) using Salesforce and OperativeOne
  • Experience working with ad server integrations in applications and websites, including tagging and inventory creation
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across levels including site leads, tech leads, sales leads, and senior leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while prioritizing effectively and meeting deadlines

Preferred:

  • Looker experience
  • Critical thinking skills, strong communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail
