Job description

Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.

We are seeking a Digital Personalization Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote in EST hours.


The Digital Personalization Manager will drive business results and provide strategic guidance by leading the design, development, and execution of personalization technology that delivers best-in-class customer experience. This role will support the development and refinement of digital journeys across the web and app world, focusing on engaging consumers online throughout the customer life cycle. The Digital Personalization Manager will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify use cases and enable targeting of key audience segments both on and off-site, and lead Digital Personalization (Segmentation & Targeting) and Optimization (A/B, MVT website testing) efforts.


To accomplish this, the Digital Personalization Manager will need to be rooted in user experience and comfortable working with personalization platforms. This role will act as a subject matter expert and help envision, sell in, and build the platform of the future for the Company. This role will also have primary responsibility for providing forward-thinking and insightful analysis and managing the personalization roadmap.



Responsibilities:

  • Translate stakeholder and product owner requirements into implementation roadmaps and project plans
  • Identify use cases that drive user engagement and personalization opportunities
  • Lead execution of digital campaigns, including personalization and A/B testing initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and analytics teams to define requirements and tracking frameworks
  • Manage campaign lifecycle from planning through launch, optimization, and reporting
  • Prepare project status reports and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives
  • Direct and monitor project activities across business functions and platforms
  • Develop and document implementation steps to ensure smooth project execution
  • Troubleshoot campaign and platform issues to ensure successful delivery
  • Provide training and support on marketing technologies
  • Evaluate project performance against plans and provide ongoing support and improvements
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (10+ years in lieu of degree)
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, A/B testing, campaign management, or personalization
  • Experience leading or contributing to campaign strategy, web strategy, and personalization initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with marketing technologies such as Adobe Target, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pega, Dynamic Yield, or Optimizely
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into execution plans
  • Experience working with analytics teams to define tracking and performance measurement
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer journeys, and personalization strategies
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and resourceful mindset
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and emerging technologies such as AI/ML is a plus
  • Experience in agency, e-commerce, financial services, or regulated environments is a plus
