We are seeking a Marketing Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid in San Diego, CA.
As the Marketing Manager, Media Operations, you will play a critical role with the administration of the program by connecting 3rd parties (agencies, publishers and vendors) to our Finance and Data systems. You will be supporting our spend management, vendor onboarding, PO and Invoice management, and accruals on behalf of our media team. You will work closely with agencies, publishers, procurement, privacy / security, Digital Activation, and legal teams to oversee all vendor onboarding, POs, and accruals and ensure that Intuit's data sharing with publishers is compliant with privacy regulations to enable successful targeting and media buying in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order & Invoice Management: Create, issue, and track purchase orders. Review and process invoices to ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor media spend and manage budgets. Provide regular financial insights and reports to senior management.
- Compliance: Facilitate privacy and security reviews, complying with data regulations. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to maintain standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams, including digital activation, procurement, and marketing analysts, to align strategies and improve data management.
Qualifications:
- A BA/BS degree is required.
- Expertise in Ad Ops, Media Billing & Accounting, and Procurement: Proven track record managing large media budgets, including billing, accruals, and financial reconciliations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working closely with legal, procurement, marketing technology, product, and media managers, publishers, and analysts. In-depth understanding of data management and the dynamics of media publisher interaction.
- Strategic Financial Management: Skilled in budget oversight with robust experience in tracking, reporting, and liaising with finance teams to manage monthly media expenses.
- Proactive Leadership: We are looking for a strategic thinker who is a self-starter, ready to identify critical areas needing attention and drive continuous improvement.
- Communication and Influence: Exceptional storytelling ability for communicating complex concepts effectively across all organizational levels, verbally and in writing.
- Analytical and Creative Thinking: Strong analytical skills combined with a creative mindset, capable of drawing actionable insights from data to influence business decisions.
- Team Collaboration and Influence: Ability to foster team collaboration and influence stakeholders across various levels, making complex data accessible to non-analytical stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented Execution: Capability to manage both overarching strategic initiatives and meticulous day-to-day details seamlessly.
- Comprehensive Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial operations, including invoicing, purchase order management, and accrual accounting. Advanced
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Proficiency in utilizing financial software and systems to solve complex issues and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Compliance Knowledge: Detail-oriented with a strong adherence to data and finance compliance policies and procedures.
- Organizational Leadership: Strong prioritization and organizational prowess are necessary for driving and leading cross-functional projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
