Job description
Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Marketing Manager on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote in EST hours.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing show launch campaigns, managing consumer events, and providing support for other initiatives (Promo production and Fusion planning).
Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy and Activation
- Lead marketing campaign planning and execution; manage the operational activities of the campaign process to achieve specific marketing goals.
- Assist the Sr. Director in Strategy Development for priority campaigns
- Lead campaign communication with all cross-functional teams (development, production, programming, creative, social, comms, research, etc.) to ensure that marketing and promotional elements are well coordinated
- Work with other key stakeholders across the company to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns: Global, Streaming, Digital, Home Entertainment, Franchise, etc.
- Collaborate with USN on paid media plans and ensure media recommendations deliver against marketing goals. Manage the campaign deliverables process - coordinate kick-offs with internal teams, meet deliverable deadlines, communicate updates/revisions
- Analyze post-campaign performance and insights; elevate learnings for future campaign development
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve as hurdles arise (ie, delayed creative, programming date shifts, budget changes, etc.)
- Manage overall show budgets by maintaining the budget tracker and working with Creative Production to ensure any applicable cross-charges are captured
- Ensure Finance teams are equipped with accurate and timely monthly forecasts as requested
Consumer Events
- Day-to-day POC for planning, communication, and production of events and experiences
- Project Management of the full event lifecycle: budget, timelines, process, and communication, partner with creative and production teams on development, and manage external agency partners
- If necessary, serve as the onsite contact and project leader by managing communications, agency/partners, and UX fan interactions.
Fusion Priorities & Planning
- Network lead and liaison with stakeholders on Fusion Planning
- Elevates tiered priorities for custom integration consideration, conception, and execution
- Communicates plan details and manages timelines on flights and deliverables
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of marketing management experience
- Project management: Ability to handle a high volume of complex projects and tasks for multiple people and departments while maintaining composure and managing competing priorities – demonstrated through previous experience
- Must have experience working with standard office software (Microsoft Office, etc)
- Ability to make sure the requests are going in and routed to the correct people
- Accounting experience: Invoicing experience, making sure the budget tracker is up to date
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
- Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees
- Must display effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be organized, thorough, and able to efficiently multitask
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Ability to handle a high volume of complex projects and tasks for multiple people and departments while maintaining composure and managing competing priorities.
