Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, located in the NYC metropolitan area! She is looking for a Marketing Assistant and/or Personal Assistant to support her business(es).

She is a Mind-Body Physical Therapist who works with women on nervous system rehabilitation, behavioral change, consulting, and fitness education to foster a life of real, sustained, vitality. Her goal is to promote her virtual/in-person services (and subscriptions) via workshops.

Secondarily, she also has side projects in e-commerce that she'd love help with too, but this is not required at the moment.

Core responsibilities

  • Source, and outreach groups, individuals, or companies for workshops locally or other major metropolitan areas. Opportunity to receive commission from paid workshops.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing like website SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, as well as secondary/tertiary projects like Etsy SEO or listings.
  • Guide on future marketing approaches like email campaigns, social media marketing, etc. Measuring ROI and KPIs can be discussed at that time.
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize future spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments, conversion tests, or growth strategies
  • Collaborate on creating landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • If interested in personal assistance tasks, that would be incredibly helpful
  • Opportunity to earn via workshop commission, and to continue beyond 6mo if we are both happy with each other's style and flow!

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • 4-6 years experience in marketing and advertising
  • Effective in market research, outreach, and establishing connections for workshops.
  • In the event of digital marketing approaches: Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
