Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a start-up personal assistant service located in Northern VA that helps people complete their to-do lists. They are looking for a remote Digital Marketing Manager to join their team for a 6-8 week project, working 10-20 hours per week.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels to help build brand awareness and acquire new customers. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing Facebook/Instagram advertising campaigns, Google Ads or similar digital advertising platforms. They should have a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies. The ability to work independently and proactively to get this new venture off the ground is critical.
Core responsibilities
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns, with a focus on Facebook/Instagram and Google Ads
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments, conversion tests, and growth strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- 2+ years experience in digital marketing and advertising, with a strong focus on paid social media (Facebook/Instagram) and search engine marketing (Google Ads)
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels, and with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Working knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends), and ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
