We are seeking a Marketing Project Manager on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of key marketing programs needed to achieve the company's goals. You will also be deeply involved in optimizing the tooling that helps us move programs forward. This role will be responsible for owning many of the processes and systems that help plan for, and deliver on, marketing goals, including marketing request intake process. You will be responsible for setting up and optimizing program management dashboards, tool automations, and individual team Kanban and scrum boards, to help the team prioritize and keep its work on track. In addition, we are looking for someone to project manage cross-functional campaigns from inception to completion and track within the project management system. You will be responsible for developing project plans based on project briefs and identify resources and teams for execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams across, and outside of, marketing to keep prioritized projects on track.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the marketing intake and resourcing process
    • Monitoring and managing the intake channel for new requests
    • Information gathering and driving pre-scoping alignment to ensure productive resourcing conversations
    • Prioritizing programs and projects based on company objectives, forecasted impact, and teams' capacity
    • Representing intake requests in the weekly resourcing meeting
  • Responsible for optimizing and maintaining program management tooling
    • Acting as the Jira evangelist for the marketing organization
    • Exploring other tooling used throughout the organization to find ways to be more efficient within XFN workstreams
    • Driving and managing integrations and improvements as needed
    • Creating and distributing program reports on a regular cadence
    • Building out tools (dashboards, structures, automations, roadmaps, etc) to make Jira an easy to use and efficient tool for the Marketing teams
  • Manage cross functional programs from ideation to execution to delivery
    • Developing detailed project plans specifying timelines and resources needed
    • Creating documentation to keep project teams on task and accountable for their agreed-upon responsibilities
  • Track program and project process to keep key marketing leadership up to speed on status and risks
    • Collect and ensuring action is taken on feedback provided to move a program or project forward
    • Providing regular status updates to stakeholders on program and project progress
    • Lead regular status meetings and capturing notes and action items
Must-haves:
  • 2-4 years of experience setting up workflows and integrations with program management tools such as Jira, Airtable, Asana
  • Experience developing operational processes for marketing teams
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to work at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of how to create a detailed project plan including timelines and roles/responsibilities
  • Comfortable communicating status and identifying risk to key leadership in order to make adjustments and decisions around prioritized programs
