We are seeking a Marketing Project Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote and candidates must be located on the East Coast.
This position will be supporting an experienced and diverse team across MarTech, Marketing and Design who are working to improve existing sales and marketing strategy and global execution. Design Thinking methodology is the cornerstone of the company's approach and expect the candidate to embrace this iterative, human-centered approach. Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Project Manager, you ensure that the team functions at a high standard and meets strategic goals. You will be the lead in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out team work streams within the constraints of resources, budget and time-across all workstream/efforts. You will also work strategically-working across the team, partner-functions and stakeholders to manage the big picture-identifying gaps and opportunities that define the program and its priorities. Specifically, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Lead in defining and managing standard processes that enable the team to track, plan, prioritize and communicate around multiple ABX work streams including current affiliate/franchise engagement
- Define and track sprint cycles within individual workstreams to ensure deadlines/goals/milestone are set
- Support the Operational Lead in tracking resourcing needs and milestones across various ABX engagements
- Proactively identify and develop process improvement across the ABX program, team, including how information is shared and executed
- Works with team Leads to assess individual workloads and meet designated timelines
- Manages risk analysis-escalating critical issues to team
- Ensure budget compliance
- Plan & manage all weekly core meetings agenda including sending reminders, coordinating materials, formatting boards, etc.
- Lead/facilitate collaborative activities within core meetings that support decision-making
- Manage and optimize current team work areas (Drive, Lucid, Trello etc) as necessary
- Report ABX progress to team leads as well as full team
- Support team Leads in formatting the stories that communicate ABX internal and external strategy to stakeholders.
- Work with team Leads to prioritize efforts and communicate progress, needs, updates as necessary
- Lead the planning and execution of quarterly core team offsites including; identify key topics; define outcomes; facilitate team in planning agendas, etc.
- Manage and facilitate communication (and channels) between core team and partner-functions
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience
- Highly organized, detailed and creative problem solver with strong project management skills, attention to detail, successful follow-through, superb execution, and the ability to prioritize across multiple projects and workflows
- Proven experience working multiple project assignments with overlapping schedules and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience bringing operational process and structure to a new or recently formed teams/projects
- Savvy multi-tasker and generalist who drives strong tactical delivery and implementation on projects, while also connecting dots and integrating learnings from across projects
- Navigates ambiguity successfully, flourishes with minimal guidance, and knows when and how to engage key stakeholders and when to consult for advice on decision-making
- Advanced skills in Google Suite & Project Management tools and software ex. Smartsheet, Trello, Monday.com, Miro/Mural/Lucid, etc.
- Experience in Agile delivery/Sprints & Design Thinking methodologies and has a point of view on the the role of empathy and human-centered practices
- Peer leader who can work collaboratively with team members across varied disciplines
- ex. Marketing, MarTech, Service design, Customer Experience, Research, and Data
- Excellent storyteller, proactive verbal and written communicator, with the ability to build internal alignment and visibility, and to find common ground and build relationships across company functions and chapters.
- Written and spoken English-fluency is a must. As an international organization, sensitivity to cultural and language differences is essential for collaboration and the ability to communicate complex concepts with nuance
