About the role:
The Marketing Project Manager will work directly with the VP of Brand Marketing and the Director of Lifecycle Marketing to lead the project management of key marketing projects, events, and creative brand deliverables and help optimize and streamline the Brand Marketing department’s processes and project tracking. You will play a critical role in providing clarity and momentum to drive key brand initiatives to fruition in a timely and cohesive manner.
What you’ll do:
- Work with Brand Marketing leadership to oversee the planning, coordination and execution of marketing projects to include developing a detailed project plan, identifying and assigning resources, fostering cross-functional team collaboration and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage project intake in the marketing project management software (Asana), facilitate workflows and follow-up, manage, delegate or perform tasks required to meet project expectations, work closely with stakeholders on updates, progress, and communication throughout, provide timely status updates and ensure all deadlines are met, help to mitigate and manage risks and challenges with project progress.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Brand Marketing team, sales, growth marketing, social media, and customer success to align on goals/objectives and translate plans into specific projects action plans, assigning tasks to creative and campaign teams as appropriate.
- Run point on event project management needs
- Partner with Director of Lifecycle Marketing on managing external agencies/vendors (creative teams) communication, freelancers, specifically facilitating feedback loops, and deadlines and schedule updates.
The skills and abilities you’ll need to succeed:
- 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects and priorities across multiple channels.
- Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive projects forward.
- Ability to constructively evaluate projects in terms of needs, and schedules, providing creative solutions for challenging situations.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- A strong desire to improve and optimize processes and systems.
- Prior startup and marketplace experience are preferred, but not required.
- Self motivation - able to operate proactively with minimal direction in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
Pay Transparency: The pay range for this position is $42-45 per hour. This pay range may be adjusted for certain geographies, based on local labor costs. If you are hired at The Mom Project, your final base salary will be based on factors such as geographic location, skills, and depth of experience.
