We are seeking a Marketing Science Lead on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in any of the following locations: NYC (preferred) and Santa Monica, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Own the measurement strategy, operations, goals, and learning plans for large customer verticals.
  • Drive performance improvement across top advertisers through learning agenda strategies, experimental design, causal analytics, and ads efficacy solution prototyping.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Product Marketing leadership to evaluate, position, and improve advertising products using causal and observational measurement frameworks.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, highlighting industry trends, measurement adoption, learning progress, and key business insights.
  • Lead measurement operations across first-party and third-party measurement solutions.
  • Conduct market and country-level performance meta-analyses, ads efficacy research, and develop playbooks rooted in data-driven analysis.
  • Build measurement knowledge and competency across internal teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Serve as the primary measurement consultant for strategic advertiser relationships.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field such as Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Operations Research.
  • 8+ years of advanced analytics and measurement experience within a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, advertiser, or research company.
  • Experience with advertising measurement.
  • Deep understanding of measurement concepts, solutions, and statistical fundamentals within the advertising measurement ecosystem.
  • Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate advertising performance insights using data science tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in structuring analyses to generate actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, or SPSS.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, advertiser verticals, and measurement strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of applied statistics, including sampling methodologies, causal modeling, time series analysis, and data mining techniques.
  • Ability to communicate complex marketing technology and measurement concepts to executive stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising and measurement ecosystem across brand and direct response advertising.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise advertisers across vertical-specific measurement initiatives.
  • Experience leading or mentoring teams and peers.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical analysis and query development.
  • Proven track record of building and influencing client or partner relationships.
