Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.


We are seeking a Marketing Specialist on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in Burbank, CA.


A portfolio included with your resume is preferred.



Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Marketing Director to support marketing strategy, campaigns, and key initiatives
  • Create and manage content for newsletters, presentations, social media, websites, and news stories
  • Write, edit, and curate content for digital channels, internal communications, and marketing materials
  • Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement
  • Capture and curate content for social media and digital marketing
  • Assist with digital content production, including showreels, interviews, and video assets
  • Maintain and update website content
  • Support partnerships, sponsorships, events, and industry collaborations
  • Coordinate listings, advertisements, and sponsorship packages with external partners
  • Provide marketing support for events
  • Design and produce marketing materials and support larger creative projects
  • Ensure brand consistency across digital, print, and on-site marketing materials
  • Manage and organize a central library of marketing and content assets
  • Coordinate with suppliers to produce branded merchandise and marketing collateral
  • Manage promotional material inventory and ordering
  • Support marketing budgets by processing purchase orders and payments
  • Provide administrative support across marketing campaigns, business units, and studio initiatives


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • 2+ years of experience with written and verbal communication across multiple levels of an organization
  • 2+ years of experience using digital technologies and adapting to new tools
  • Strong marketing experience
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing design, digital, and social media agencies
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, self-motivated approach
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Experience managing social media platforms
  • Experience with website content management systems (CMS)
  • Proficiency in still and video photography
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in the media and entertainment industry
  • Passion for the film and television industry
  • Portfolio included with resume
