Job description

As a Marketing Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in client success by leading accounts and managing cross-functional marketing strategies. This mid-management level role requires a deep understanding of msp/tech/SaaS space, marketing strategy, branding, and account planning/marketing plan development. Knowledge of the Tech/SaaS space is critical to this role. You’ll be key in facilitating discussions with other management leaders in our client organizations and at our company, ensuring that a Top of Funnel understanding of our actions and SOWs are working to support and meet client objectives. You will also provide leadership and mentorship to the internal team, driving creativity, strategy, and performance across all campaigns.

Responsibilities

  1. Client Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring marketing strategies meet business objectives. Work closely with clients to define KPIs and develop actionable marketing plans that are data-driven and results-oriented.
  2. Strategic Planning: Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels with a specialist-level focus on event management, content creation, and branding. Ensure that all campaigns are aligned with the client's brand and business goals, using best practices in each area.
  3. Event Management: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of virtual, hybrid, and in-person events, including webinars, trade shows, and workshops. Leverage marketing tactics like attendee segmentation, promotional strategies, engagement tools, and post-event analytics to maximize participation and ROI.
  4. Content Marketing: Oversee the development of high-impact content across various formats (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, video, and social media) with a deep understanding of SEO and lead generation tactics. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure consistency and alignment with the brand’s messaging and tone.
  5. Brand Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement branding initiatives that strengthen client identity and market positioning. Utilize tactics such as competitive analysis, brand audits, visual identity development, and customer persona creation to ensure that branding is both consistent and adaptive to market changes.
  6. Partner Marketing: Spearhead co-marketing initiatives with tech partners and solution providers, focusing on building strong go-to-market strategies. Manage joint marketing efforts including co-branded content, shared campaigns, and partner-sponsored events, optimizing for lead generation and brand visibility.
  7. Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics platforms. Apply specialist knowledge in marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo), CRM management, and A/B testing to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and drive actionable insights.
  8. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor and collaborate with junior strategists, content creators, and other team members. Provide guidance on marketing best practices, campaign strategy, and execution while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  9. Process Management: Utilize project management tools such as ClickUp or Asana to ensure smooth execution of marketing projects. Improve internal processes and workflows to streamline delivery, enhance communication, and ensure timely completion of client deliverables.

  4. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
  5. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
