We are seeking a Measurement Insights Analyst on a contract basis who will focus on the post-campaign measurement for our Strategic Verticals (non-endemic enterprise brands) advertisers based in the US and Canada; this role will facilitate and drive key insights for partners, support sales staff, collaborate with internal partners to optimize our go-to-market strategy, increase overall product adoption and track performance targets. You will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and driving strategic analysis of omni-channel campaigns of some of the largest advertisers in the world. Leveraging your business acumen and technical skills (such as SQL), you will derive both tactical and strategic insights and communicate them to senior leaders at the company and at our advertisers. The Measurement Insights and Analysis team is looking for an analytical and strategic problem solver to partner with our sales team with the goal of improving the performance of our advertisers’ campaigns and driving larger advertising revenue. This role will be onsite in San Francisco, CA.
What You’ll Do:
- Data insights and analysis
- Manage post-campaign reporting and insights for all advertisers across the Strategic Verticals (non-endemic enterprise brands) sales teams at the company Advertising for brand and performance media in the local country and region
- Advertising strategy
- Develop and present client-facing, data-driven analysis with actionable recommendations, to improve performance of the company's top advertisers’ campaigns
- Measurement operation improvement
- Contribute to building solutions with efficiently and scale our measurement service to Sales and our advertisers, partnering with the Strategic Verticals team lead
- Advocacy for local country and regional needs
- Establish a deep understanding of the local needs and nuances by partnering with local Account Executives, Account Managers and Merchant Operations teams, in order to customize measurement operations for that country/region
- Management of local measurement operation
- Work with the Strategic Verticals Global lead you will set clear objectives and measures to monitor local measurement operation progress and productivity, and hold internal partners accountable for delivering results
- Inform ways to drive business review cadence and develop reporting frameworks to facilitate alignment, learning and improvement, and accountability
Must Haves:
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics/data science, measurement and insights, consulting, operations or strategy
- 3+ years of experience in marketing/advertising analytics and measurement; experience in omnichannel marketing, attribution, and ROI measurement, including performance and awareness of online advertising preferred
- 3+ years of experience and advanced skills in data analysis (e.g. MS Excel / Google Sheets / Python), story-telling (e.g. providing actionable insights based on analysis), intermediate data querying (e.g. SQL), leveraging data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Google Data Studio, Tableau)
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously; project management experience in dealing with a high volume of reporting/analysis requests
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders including sales and account management teams and to effectively communicate technical work to non-technical audiences
- Detail orientation with a focus on accuracy and efficiency (process standardization) using strong documentation
- Lean in and embrace the details to map processes, clean data, and even write/review code
- Experience with marketing/advertising measurement, analytics, and reporting within an advertising agency/consulting preferred
- Experience with online advertising, targeting and measurement systems and methodologies (ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, etc.) preferred
- Experience with 3rd party measurement studies (brand lift, sales lift, foot traffic, etc.) preferred
- Well-versed in advertising technology, including 3rd party ad-serving and tag management solutions and programmatic ad buying platform preferred
- Experience with A/B and multivariate test design and implementation and statistical concepts
- Experience in developing and presenting strategic, action-oriented recommendations from complex analytics efficiently and engagingly to an executive audience preferred
- Experience with relationship building/management with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Product and Engineering preferred
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Math, Statistics, Psychology, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Research or similar quantitative field
Hours & Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be onsite in San Francisco, CA.
