PR Media Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PR Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective public relations strategies to enhance our company's brand image and market presence, as well as pitching our company and clients for relevant podcast opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with company goals
- Write compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers
- Monitor media coverage and manage the company's reputation
- Organize press conferences, media events, and interviews
- Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content for various platforms
- Analyze PR campaign performance and provide detailed reports
- Monitor and respond to HARO (Help a Reporter Out) pitches
- Actively pitch to our clients for relevant podcast appearances
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PR, media relations, or a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools and social media platforms
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for storytelling
Preferred Qualifications:
- Established network of media contacts in the coaching and personal development industry
- Experience with crisis communication and reputation management
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing strategies
