Mergers and Acquisitions Associate (Active License Required, 100% Remote)

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Mergers & Acquisitions Associate to support a range of transactional matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely on complex deals while contributing to a collaborative and efficient remote practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Support mergers and acquisitions transactions, including drafting and assisting with purchase agreements and related ancillary documents
• Lead the review and markup of confidentiality agreements
• Manage key aspects of transaction execution, including disclosure schedules, transaction checklists, and signature page coordination
• Provide project management support to ensure timely and accurate deal progression

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be actively licensed, no specific state required.
• Experience in a transactional legal practice, such as mergers & acquisitions, corporate law, finance, or project development in an Am Law 100 firm or within a Fortune 500 legal department.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Experience in Oil & Gas a plus, but not required.
• Experience in Energy a plus, but not required.
