Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.

We are seeking a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (onsite 3 days a week) in Sunnyvale, CA.

The role of a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect is pivotal in shaping the future of work within organizations by leveraging Microsoft productivity tools and related cloud solutions. This professional is responsible for the design, deployment, and management of these solutions, aiming to enhance productivity, collaboration, and efficiency. The addition of evaluating and deploying Microsoft Copilot form Microsoft 365 introduces an exciting dimension to this role, emphasizing the importance of AI in transforming workplace tasks and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement and Digital Transformation
  • Actively engage with customers, partners, and account teams to deeply understand business needs and deliver impactful technical engagements.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives by envisioning, designing, and delivering solutions that leverage the Microsoft Cloud, including the transformative capabilities of Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  • Solution Architecture and Technical Leadership
  • Design innovative enterprise solutions based on the Microsoft 365 platform, focusing on client-facing roles, and incorporating AI technologies like Microsoft 365 Copilot for automating time-consuming tasks.
  • Inspire customers with a vision of their digital future, utilizing technical knowledge and showcasing the potential of AI in enhancing workplace productivity.
  • Project Management and Quality Assurance
  • Offer guidance and coaching to project teams, ensuring the adoption of best-practice architecture patterns for achieving project goals.
  • Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards and manage risks during the solution design and delivery phases.
  • Strategic and Operational Excellence
  • Create competitive proposals reflecting thought leadership and develop pricing models and KPIs for evaluating project success.
  • Provide Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the strategic direction of the practice and act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal teams.
  • Microsoft CoPilot Evaluation and Deployment
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate organizational readiness for leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot, focusing on improving efficiency, collaboration, and productivity.
  • Enhance organizational knowledge on how Microsoft 365 Copilot can automate tasks and provide tailored recommendations for securely setting up businesses for success with AI technologies (AI Experience is preferred).
    .Required Skills and Experience:
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Cloud solutions and a customer-facing consulting background.
    • Proven success in implementing and supporting Microsoft cloud-based solutions, with a preference for experience in AI technologies like Microsoft 365 Copilot.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues in collaboration with teams.
    • Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles and patterns, such as scalability, availability, security, and reliability.
    • Experience with Azure services and tools, such as Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Active Directory, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Bot Service.
    • Ability to design and implement cloud solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the customers, using best practices and industry standards.
    • Familiarity with AI concepts and frameworks, such as natural language processing, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, and TensorFlow.
    • Certification in Microsoft Azure or other relevant cloud technologies is preferred.
