Job description

Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.

We are seeking a Mobile Marketing Channel Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote in EST hours.

Mobile Marketing Channel Manager leans on their strong technical background and attention to detail to create world class marketing messages and in-app experiences delivered through the company's native app channels. Staying current with vendor capabilities, industry case studies, and company objectives, this individual consults with marketing and design teams to create innovative marketing campaigns & assets that leverage the unique capabilities the mobile apps provide.

The successful candidate must be comfortable with both Apple’s & Google’s mobile operating systems and mobile wallet applications.



Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and deploy BAU mobile marketing campaigns leveraging existing message templates. Recording task status updates and completion evidence in Adobe Workfront as the work progresses.
  • Translate design mockups and concepts into functional in-app messages & interactive experiences to support marketing campaigns.
  • Combine drag & drop elements with custom HTML & JavaScript snippets to build out library of in-app message templates for use with vendor’s embedded Unlayer editor.
  • QA custom messages & templates on iOS & Android devices prior to production release. Document QA results in Adobe Workfront.
  • Create reference documents and creative specs for templates and script snippets.
  • Build audience segments for both one-off campaigns & reusable marketing deployments.
  • Build reporting dashboards in Looker-based mobile marketing analytics platform.
  • Prototype and QA potential enhancements to marketing capabilities in UAT environments.
  • Employ vendor APIs to QA backend data for mobile wallet pass campaigns as well as export API-only reporting.
  • Work with mobile app development teams to develop user stories and testing procedures for new marketing features and vendor SDK updates.


Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing or similar field and 3+ years of work related experience OR in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 5+ years of professional work related experience in high-quality mobile web frontend development.
  • Languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
  • Software/Tools: Airship, Movable Ink, Postman, Looker, Unlayer, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Workfront, Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Airship experience
  • Experience with JavaScript.


Preferred:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven or agile environment
  • Experience in consumer financial services with exposure to a credit card or retail environment
  • Experience working with data segmentation and data auditing
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles
  • Strong Change Management skills - effective communicator, good at holding "crucial conversations" with clients and internal partners
  • Demonstrated aptitude in the Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
